so how 'bout this update...

Alright then... Lets start with the beginning of October.

Soo, if some of you don't already know, I've got a job at Ravenwood Manor/ Garden of Evil. I work with we're the dollies of the Garden. I absolutely love my costume. I totally LOVE it. Especially my wig.

Okay, so the blood drive for Ravenwood was on Friday the 2nd ,the day of our Dress rehearsal, and it went pretty well, KAKE was even there... i was on the 5 o' clock news for like 6 seconds. But I've got to admit, I didn't like my makeup that day, it was all paint, and it was all chipping away before we even started. But that night, for and I's section, the "Garden of Evil" was Just plain ol' horrible! We had no lights, no music, and the path through it was unclear and it was tought trying to get the people through.

but I was so happy that Saturday, the 3rd, went a whole lot better.
Mickey, the make-up artist asked me to get in early, but i ended up doing most of it all, Mickey did the giant crack on my eye, it was 's idea. and speaking of her, I also did her make-up and I loved how it turned out, with all the patches, and I like doing a different patterns every time.
Finally, when we got out to the path for our haunt that night, it looked a lot better, we had some more lights, and there was even a light over my head to i guess extenuate me. (I'm hoping they put up a strobe light this week for me, It'd look so cool)
Although, there was a point, where scared a woman who was taking pictures for what we found out was East High. She did her thing, sitting still until they were done taking pictures, and then when she ran up to scare her scared her, she pushed back and pulled on one her hairfalls.

on Friday the 9th, I added 3 layers of tights and 2 more layers of shirts because it was supposed to be 37 degrees out... And it was downright cold, and it sucked.

Saturday the 10th, My day didn't start out too well, I had to help my grandma move early in the morning. BUt after that, i went home.
I knew I wanted to make a wind-up key for my costume. So within an hour and a half i popped one up with cardboard and duct tape, and I was sooooo happy about it. So now it's attached to my corset and I <3 it to dreath.
Then I was off to work. It was 32 degrees, with a lot of very cold wind.
I had gloves, 3 layers of long sleeve shirts, the 100% polyester dress, the skin tight corset, a pair of thick tights, two pairs of my dad's wool boot socks, and then two layers of knee high white tights.
And I was still super cold.
And what really sucked was I was stuck in a spot where there wasn't anything to block the the wind from getting to me. My face and hands got so cold that they were numb and when they'd think about thawing out, it was PAINFUL. So I ended up taking the first break of the night because it just hurt to even move my face or even talk. So I moved my self up some, putting my self between so trees to block the wind.

After work, most of us decided to go to IHOP for breakfast. Still in our costumes, which was really fun to do. Even Mike and Charlene decided to come. Mike even ended up paying everyone's tab. i really wished would of got something to eat then just hot chocolate (which was amazing btw)

so for Halloween and I are going as Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus. Yes. I said Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus. Lucky me will be the Jonas brother. I'm having trouble figuring what I'm going to wear though...
It all sated at Karaoke, and I were talking about AFW costumes, and some how I told her about my JoBro wig. and we thought about doing it for AFW next year, but then decided on not doing Nick & Miley for it, so we decided to do it for halloween, just to be the silly geese that we are.
, I agree that we should wear our costumes to work before we get into doll costumes. XDDD

so I'm really happy that on Sunday, , me and my parents are going on a trip to Branson, Missouri... this is probably the first actual family trip we've taken in 10 years which I think our last one was Colorado. So it's been a while.
It's going to feel really good not having to mess with the Nursery at chruch this Sunday.
My mom told me this trip is an early birthday gift, so i can now check "trip out of Kansas" off my list.
What really sucks is i'm going to be working this Saturday until the wee hours of the morning so you know what that means... sleeping on the way up there.

well anyhoo there's an update... and knowing me it'll be another 3 months until my next update. lol
